Tideborn Tactics
★★★★☆ 4.2
Tideborn Tactics asks you to think several turns ahead. You command a growing fleet across an archipelago, balancing exploration, supply, and the occasional brutal storm that can wreck an unprepared convoy.
It's slower and more deliberate than most mobile strategy games, which I mean as a compliment. The campaign gives you real decisions, and the island map hides enough secrets to reward careful scouting.
The one rough spot is the early tutorial, which throws a lot of systems at you at once. Push through it and the game opens up into something genuinely strategic.
What we liked
- Deep supply and fleet management
- Weather that actually changes your plans
- A map worth exploring slowly
