Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a slow-burn adventure that trusts you to pay attention. You explore a foggy coastal town, piecing together what happened through notes, objects, and quiet conversations.

The puzzles are woven into the story instead of bolted on, so solving one usually reveals something about the characters. Nothing felt arbitrary, and the hint system is gentle enough that I never got stuck for too long.

The art and sound do a lot of heavy lifting here. Playing it with headphones late at night was one of my favorite mobile gaming moments this year.
