Simulation
Garden of Gears
★★★★☆ 4.1
Garden of Gears is a gentle simulation where you rebuild a clockwork garden, planting mechanical flora and tuning little automatons that tend them. There's no fail state, just a steady sense of making a place nicer.
The loop of planting, upgrading, and unlocking new areas is quietly addictive. It saves properly in the background, so leaving and coming back never felt like a chore.
It's not deep, and progression slows in the mid-game, but as a wind-down game it does exactly what it sets out to do.
What we liked
- Relaxing, no-pressure pacing
- Charming clockwork aesthetic
- Great for short calm sessions
